This VA is so bad I am gobsmacked by the incompetence and nonsense. They barely have availability for any consult less than 2 to 3 months out. I moved here from Texas and have on going treatment for various things which I can not go by without. I am so late for major treatments and they refuse to send me to the community leaving me with so much pain. I am in the process of speaking to Advocates on this matter. This place needs a total overhaul. I have been to different VA facilities in different states and this is by far the worse I have to deal with.

I would have never thought social worker would be so rude and disrespectful!! I called today to ask a question about me helping other veterans the social worker kept cutting me off she would allow me to finish my sentence or speak! This is so unfortunate and sad when I’m really trying to help house those veterans who needs homes. As a veterans care giver I’m really upset of the treatment I received today. VA social workers should NEVER treat anyone the way I was treated. Of If I could rate this office a 0 I definitely would!!

I was able to be seen in a timely manner, the staff were professional and friendly, saved me from losing a few fingers. All the horror stories about the VA have been dispelled in my mind. If I ever need medical attention again this will be my first choice.

Only been out and using this hospital 4 months but every experience I've had with the staff, the efficiency of the ER on multiple occasions, and making appointments etc has been so incredibly reliable and relieving! Had a four day "visit" due to pulmonary Embolisms and the ICU staff were so attentive and kind in comparison to the nearby Scripps I've been unfortunate enough to be reliant on in the past. Came in around Easter and they were handing out free girlscout cookies. The one gripe I have is the parking situation. I drive a tall vehicle and have to park down the awful hill. I have severe difficulty walking, and an emergency situation was made so much worse because I failed to make it up the hill on my own while the shuttle service had closed up for the evening. It's the only reason this isn't getting five stars.
