Great experience! We booked both the private lessons and semi/private group lessons for the whole family who were all at different experience levels, and we all came out with improved skilled and new moves. Our instructor was Javan, and we enjoyed it so much we actually booked a second day of lessons during our stay! The kids also got to join the Wednesday kids skate group they held. We’re excited to come back and try the summer camp they offer!! Definitely worth trying if you want to improve skating skills (even if you don’t have any to begin with 😂!!)

Drizzy (Christian) @ Skate ATL rocks! He is an amazing teacher. He is kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. Drizzy has that certain something that helps inspire while teaching . My son (10) loves taking lessons with him and has grown as a skater exponentially in the last 8 months since being with him. He has done private and group with Drizzy. The other teachers at Skate ATL are great too, and Skate ATL is a fantastic company. I highly recommend them if you want to learn to skateboard! Edit: My son just did two weeks with their summer skate camp - he loved it! He wants to do more! They travel to different parks and skate stores all over the ATL culminating down at the Newman skate park where there are water features all the while learning new skate skills.

Mike is the bomb. Yea, I said it. I am a 40 year old lady and I tried to teach myself in 2014 - that's 11 years ago. I fell and my board went flying into the street. I didnt get back on until last year and after watching YouTube and practicing my own trying to stand up. I surrendered and contacted SkateATL. They set me up with Mike and you don't even know how much my first impression of him, to just learning how to get on the board, to practicing what I wanted to learn over and over. His flexibility and to be able to cater to my style of learning.... he was always there so I never felt unsafe. He was there to build up my confidence to try and try again. I can confidently say that I learned so much in 1 hour with Mike than I tried to learn on my own in over 10 years. I can even fall on my ass and let the board go into the street. Cause if that should ever happen again. I know Mike will be there and Im gonna get back on the board easy - Mike taught me that. Thanks Mike

I picked skateboarding up again recently at 50 years. It has been twenty years for me to an ollie on flat ground or rail slide a curb. After just one lesson with Mike Man he had me doing both and gave me tips I had never known to get 180 no complies. I felt like a kid again and am so thankful for Mike. He is extremely professional and I have already exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone trying to improve their skill set.
