If I could give 0 stars I would. The owner Jodi made a lot of my family and friends uncomfortable with her rushing, anxiety, and rudeness. We had a celebration of life for my mother in law that unexpectedly and tragically passed. For her to say “the colored people” to a 19 year old is 100% unacceptable and I wish we knew of her ill opinions before finding this space. We are a blended family and take that very seriously. We also were helpful and checked with her for anything to make sure everything was ok. So for her to be rude, pushy and yelling is also unacceptable. The space fit us well. And is a very workable space as long as she wasn’t there telling you what to do the whole time. The bartender (co-owner?) I forgot his name was FABULOUS! He was patient, helpful, energy was high and positive, let me know multiple times that we were very nice. And is also in a local band so we appreciate the Seattle love and also love to support them back. We will be sure to reach out to appropriate people for the discrimination.

I had my mother’s celebration of life there this past Saturday, the owner (Jodi) was TERRRIBLE. I regret honoring my moms life at this racist, rushed and unappreciated venue. I payed 1600$ for 8 hours, the owner made racist remarks like “colored people” she was at my moms celebration of life helping herself to food, drinks and more. We rented it till 9pm and she was cleaning up OUR stuff at 7pm which made a number of people uncomfortable and they began to leave. She also made several remarks while we were setting up that most of our decorations were “pointless” and nobody would remember. This was supposed to be one of the most important and memorable days of my life as me and my FIVE siblings just tragically lost our mother. At the end she threw out the remaining things we had, shut the lights off and locked us out. She also walked around all 6 hours making ALL guests uncomfortable and wondering who she was. She began to raise her voice at me when I went to move tables, which I didn’t think was appropriate as I payed to rent the space. All in all I wouldn’t recommend booking here unless you are ready for someone to watch your entire event down to telling you how to decorate and what you SHOULDNT do.

I Rented the space about 3 years ago and forgot to post a review. Had a reunion event with a dj, sound and about 100 people (throughout the night). Inquiries Were Answered Immediately. She worked with me to find a date that would work, and was super friendly over email and phone. Her price was definitely fair, and everyone in my group had a blast, and felt the event was very intimate and an awesome spot. Would definitely rent it again but I don't live in Seattle anymore.
