My God the food was wonderful! Ordered through UberEats and was so pleasantly satisfied. I got the baked turkey wings and had more than enough left over. Can’t wait to order again. The wings were perfect!

I had an all aground great experience. I did not catch her name but the lady who helped me and my father was very helpful and gave great energy. As someone who had never been to this establishment and was visiting from out of town, I can say that I will be returning on my next trip to Atlanta. I ordered the chicken and rice with a side of candy yams, collard greens, cornbread and the dressing . I also ordered the strawberry lemonade that is also made in house and was delicious and packed with flavor (perfect for a warm day). The atmosphere was great , there was music and cooling air and the workers made conversation and expressed ahead of time if something wasn’t available. I recommend coming here and trying for yourself, you won’t regret it!!

This place is my go to place when I want some good soul food. First of all the staff are so welcoming and loving it just makes you want to eat there. Not only that but the food is so good and well seasoned. I love the authentic look when you go inside and it makes me feel like I’m back home in South Georgia. I got the fried turkey ribs, with honey hot sauce and they never disappoint. 10/10. Got that with Mac n cheese and cabbage. Also got the peach cobbler for the first time and I only eat my grandmother’s peach cobbler but this cobbler was real good (crust was perfect), and I’d come back and get more and get it catered. Last but not least the Strawberry Pineapple lemonade was 10/10 as well. Makes you mouth water after drinking it. Wish I could have a jug of it so I can sit it in my fridge for days to come.

I was disappointed by there descriptions on their menu for this peach cobbler. The portion description states it’s enough for 2 people or 1 greedy person. Take look at the pictures below and judge for yourself. In addition, the taste was not that great. The Strawberry, Pineapple Lemonade taste like syrup and water. It was very heavy on the sweet where you can’t taste flavors just sugar. Cornbread was flavorless and hard as a rock. Mac and cheese was ok, I added more cheese to make it cheesy. Now the greens, cabbage, potato salad, and fried chicken was delicious. The customer service was great, but they do have a sign posted about what they don’t give refunds for. Read it and pay attention to it. Nonetheless, I tried it, thanks won’t be back.

I was excited to try this restaurant after seeing their post on social media and wanted to show my support. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The menu offered a wide variety of options, including pork chops, chicken, seafood, and an assortment of vegetables. I decided to order the fried chicken dinner with a side, which came to $34. While the price felt a bit steep, I’m always willing to pay more for good food. I also noticed there was a service charge added, and the total cost varied depending on the payment method, which I hadn’t expected. The food arrived fairly quickly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the quality didn’t meet my expectations. The mac and cheese wasn’t the traditional style I’m used to, and the yams were extremely dark and oddly chewy. On a positive note, the chicken batter was well-seasoned, and the greens were..decent. I tried to eat what I could since the meal was expensive, but after just two bites of the yams, I knew I couldn’t continue. After debating whether to call I called the restaurant afterward to share my feedback, hoping for some kind of understanding or resolution. However, the person I spoke with didn’t seem very open to hearing my concerns. She mentioned a sign in the restaurant (which I didn’t see) stating “that their food may not match everyone’s flavor profile.” She ended the conversation by essentially saying it was my fault for not liking the food and for that reason nothing could be done. Overall, I was truly disappointed by both the meal and the response I received. I wanted to support a business I was excited about, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the promise!
