Honest prices. The selection is fairly varied but there is not a lot, so it would be a shorter visit. Clearly a labor of love, highly recommended for low stakes crate digging and learning about music with the people there.

If you’re visiting Raleigh, Sound Off Records is a must visit. Even if you don’t have a record player it’s worth stopping by for the nostalgia and cool retro items they have for sale. Anna and her 2 pups are so nice and just add to the chill vibe here.

Such a fun record shop. Not only have I found vinyls I couldn't find elsewhere, but they have a fun collection of oddities like lava lamps. Owners are so nice and they have two beautiful dogs!

I made the mistake of going in after hours when they were closed but the owner invited us in anyways. I was interested in purchasing a stereo receiver and he stayed and cleaned/tested the entire set up for us all when they were supposed to be closed. The shop is awesome. Attached is the pioneer receiver I got, it's probably 40 years old but is in near factory condition after he worked on it.
