This place is very nice yet there are theft reports so be careful. I left my window opened and my car was empty, the car's window next to me crashed. Putting aside the vandalism stuff, nature is great and the view is nice, the trail is not hard and fine to kids.

Beautiful spot. Trails have lots of elevation & water access. The trails aren’t particularly well marked, but it was great to explore. Bring shoes that can get muddy. Saw lots of people swimming/wading too so a swimsuit could be a good idea. Did see a lot of broken glass in the parking lot so the reviews about theft appear legit.y car was fine in this particular instance.

Such a fun place to hike! Not super challenging (my active grandma was able to do even the hardest routes) but just challenging enough. You can go swimming there too and it feels like your out of the city when it’s only like 20 minutes from the center of Austin! Also it’s free to park and hike here. Trails are clearly marked. Plan to spend 1-2 hours here!
