The pizza is fine. The space is unique. There was no music playing so it seemed a bit weird. Mostly an older crowd, so maybe that’s what is preferred? They have a salad bar and folks were into it.

Absolutely delicious pizza! I have been to a lot of pizza joints and this one embodies what one should be. Has beer on tap and giant cold glasses for them, environment is fun and entertaining to look at what they have collected on the walls. Oldies music playing your favorites. Create your own pizza or get some of the local favorites and well as specialties made by Starks. Crust is a house secret and the owners very friendly and want to be personable with their regulars and visitors alike! Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to when in Portland again!

This is the best pizza is all of Portland and I've been saying this for over 25 years!! I recommend the pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni. They are the cupping kind and it has a delicious crunchy cracker crust! The photo speaks for itself!! I've yet to find a better pizza around!

I was really looking forward to coming and checking the place out with family recently. We had reserved a private room for a birthday party. Upon getting there, the decor was eclectic. The private room had a separate entrance off the lobby, which was nice to keep our group together. The pizza was okay. Nothing I will likely crave coming back for. It's similar to a round table pizza. The service was not great. I went up to order a soda at the front of the restaurant. I stood there for a few minutes while people stocked mugs into the fridge or did various tasks. Every time one of them looked at me, instead of a "one second!" I got a disgruntled look. Finally, an employee came to help me after a few minutes. I didn't mind the wait as I know people are busy. But I thought at least a friendly smile or something would be better than the disgruntlement. I ordered three sodas, and the employee never confirmed the order or asked, "Is that everything?" Or anything like that. Didn't even make eye contact. Just stared all over at various places like they were annoyed with being there. If the pizza was out of this world or the service was, I would he back. But mediocre at best on both parts? I likely won't be returning or recommending.
