Studio 944 (Jeremy and Kie) were very professional and they where quick to respond. The venue is beautiful and a quaint space for an intimate event. Our guests were so happy they didn't have to pay for parking in Atlanta. Should we be planning another event we will definitely think of you all as service was top notch.

Be careful of booking this place. The owner is money hungry and kept our $300 deposit over finger prints on the wall, that could easily be wiped off with a warm wet rag. He said he’d have to get painters to paint the walls when the walls weren’t clean to begin with. When the decorator arrived to the venue, the floor and place was messy and had to be cleaned by the decorator. The owner told us we would receive a refund of our deposit amount in 14 days which we never received. Be careful of getting scammed out of your deposit.

I reached out to Kee about three or four days before the date of my 35th birthday dinner since the inclement weather was not going to allow me to have it at my original location. I immediately felt at ease, and I am so grateful that Studio 944 was able to accommodate my guests and I on such short notice. When I need to host small gatherings for my nonprofit, I already know who I will call and where we will be!

I want to start off by saying Jeremy was really nice and responsive throughout the entire booking process as well as the day of the event. If I’m honest, I had trouble unlocking the door entering the building and I had trouble locking the door leaving. The lock was tricky to unlock the door to enter the building. To the point I thought the key was stuck in the door. I didn’t want to turn it to hard out of fear the key would break off in the lock. I was panicking because I wasn’t informed in the beginning of the door being tricky. I was informed in the end when I was locking up. I struggled for at good 10 minutes before giving up on it. Luckily, my uncle came and put some pressure on it and the door finally opened. Also, I was told that I could connect my phone to the speaker in the back office but when I tried to enter that room to connect my phone the door was locked. I didn’t worry about it only because I had my mom bring her speaker and I connected my phone to that. Leaving and locking up the building was a struggle as well. The lockbox that contained the key would not unlock. I called Jeremy and he gave me several different codes to retrieve the key and none of them worked. He showed me another way to lock the door because the handle to the front door was broken with tape on it. My brother had to slam down on the handle to get it to lock by itself. Luckily, I had men there to help me through this process because I would’ve really struggled had my uncle and brother not been there. I’ll say this, if you know your facility is difficult to enter as well as lock up. Please make sure that you come and open the facility for the customer as well as come lock it up after the event is over. It makes sense now why Jeremy stated in his instructions to call him when the event is over to make sure the door is properly locked. That should not be the customer’s responsibility to struggle with doors and locks. The solution would just be to get smart locks and give the customer a code to enter the building and just change the code after the customer leaves the building. That facility cost too much money to rent to be struggling to lock/unlock doors. They also need a bigger sink in the prep area. The sink was a struggle to wash anything in because of how small it is and the chairs that they provide at the facility are dirty and flimsy. They provide chair covers but I don’t like the look of chair covers. Therefore, I rented my own chairs. The place looks nice but it can definitely use some upgrades. You have to invest in your business. Especially the locks. Jeremy did apologize for the struggles that I faced but I will say being that I’m working on my own event company. This did teach me what not to do when running my business.
