As I have ordered from sushi mas so many times in the past with no issues, I do believe that the one-off scenario with their staff is something that is forgivable and the quick response from the team and personalized attention was greatly appreciated. I will definitely be going back! ---------------------------------------- Original: When I came to pick up my order tonight, the host said that he did not have my order and that someone came before me and stole it. He told me that he would make a new sushi roll for me and it would be ready in 10 minutes which I was completely fine with. It was about 20 minutes before the restaurant closed and when the host went back to tell the chefs they started screaming so violently and using every single swearword in English in Spanish that I genuinely was concerned for everyones safety. After about five minutes of intense, screaming between the host and the chefs, The host came up to me and said that he would just cancel my order because the chefs did not want to remake it. At this point it is 10:40 PM and I hadn’t eaten anything all day so I was left searching nearby places that were still open.

I’ve been ordering from Sushi Mass for years, both for pickup and delivery, and it’s almost always been excellent. However, my experience yesterday was disappointing. When I went to pick up my order, the front desk staff member was extremely unpleasant and unfriendly, which immediately gave me a bad impression. When I received my two orders, I noticed there was only one portion of ginger and one of wasabi. I pointed this out, and the staff member curtly responded that their policy only allows one serving for both orders. I left feeling disappointed, but I was still looking forward to enjoying my sushi at home. Unfortunately, the disappointment continued. The rice was old, and the sushi was not fresh at all—it lacked flavor and was far from the quality I had come to expect. Given both the poor service and the decline in food quality, I won’t be ordering from Sushi Mass again.

Ordered from wynwood store. Try calling them. Sent e mails. Nobody replied. We got the sushi with two disgusting peace of plastic. Are you serious? First you offer food. Second you handle raw food. I assume your kithchen must be cristal clear but apparently is not. You know what can cause this if swollen by a minor? You know how disgusting is to feel that what you are eating has zero quality control and the sushiman is carelss? How is possible that a piece of food with only 3 ingredients comes with 4 and one is plastic from who knows where?

I summarize it as a very cozy place, which I recommend 💯%, since they have a quite varied menu of rolls, ramen, starters, desserts, drinks, etc. I ordered a California Maki roll, and WOW!!!.. 10 out of 10, everything was super fresh in my food, I recommend it with my eyes closed, they gained a loyal customer.
