Despite the neighbors' misleading signs warning you to stay on the narrow access area, be aware that courts have NOT supported attempts by private owners to exclude the public from Washington State beaches (see links below). Nevertheless, embarrassing to live in a state that allows any private ownership of beaches -- we should follow Oregon's example and make them all an unambiguous public right of way. Lovely little strip of beach behind a bunch of private properties. Clean, quiet, and as long as you read the signs and respect the property of the people who live there, your fine. We actually had someone’s very friendly dog come to us as we ate a small lunch on the beach. I think he wanted our chips :)

This is a very secret (but it IS public) tiny beach-head park at the end of a narrow alley. You'd NEVER know it was there. It's a little south of the Fauntleroy Ferry dock. It has great views west toward the Olympics. You can watch the sky and the water and the ferry boats going by. There is private property very close (the park is maybe only 20-25 feet wide) on the north and south, so stay off those parcels.
