I ordered the Boba Festival daily special. I knew it was super crowded. I saw people walking around holding their ice cream with boba, and it looked so cute and aesthetic that I had to ask where they got it. It had beautiful layers of ice cream and boba, so I decided to try it too. But what I actually got was really disappointing. The ice cream had already been pre-scooped and left out, probably to save time because of the long lines. I get that, but the presentation was completely different from what I saw others holding. Mine was already melting and looked kind of sad. The boba, which should’ve been soft and chewy, was hard and cold probably from being stored with the ice cream too long. Right after I ordered, they just added whipped cream. You can see from the photo, it wasn’t cute at all. I didn’t dare to post it on my social media. I was hoping to take a nice pic and share it, but this one didn’t feel worth it. I felt annoyed and really disappointed. It tasted okay, but it wasn’t the experience I expected. I’m honestly sad about it. This is my one trip to the U.S., and I really wanted it to be special.

Got two small cups of ice cream, just one scoop in each, and it cost me $20 — seriously overpriced. On top of that, the service was terrible. No smile, no patience, and the staff acted like I was bothering them. What’s worse, they clearly treat customers differently — I saw them give big, generous scoops to some people, and tiny ones to others. Very inconsistent and unfair. Definitely not coming back. Would not recommend.

got a cake for my brother and i would highly not recommend! the ice cream is fine i guess but it was over $70 for a 6 inch round cake that had pretty bad decorating and writing on it. the blue spray paint on the sides were a bit questionable as well as the way the words were written. the cake layer that i added to it was an extra $7 and was honestly not great. personally have had better ice cream cake from dairy queen :’) for how much was paid, i defs think all aspects should have been better.

I went to this ice cream shop when I went to UW in 2017. This place is now owned by a UW alumni and it's way better than it used to be. Flavors are unique, staff is friendly and a nice place to stop by for a cold bite in U-District. I also highly recommend the S'mores Tart if you get a chance to catch it when they have em in, it's delicious!! They also rotate flavors so keep an eye out for new ones and don't hesitate to try something before it's gone.
