The staff was very friendly and warm. The food is just slightly subpar. The omelette is mid and the bacon is very hard to chew, contrary to other reviews (maybe person taste?). Tried the omurice (they kindly swapped galbi for bacon, so good!) and the blueberry moffle, both were delicious. We got a table quickly after joining the Yelp waitlist in person, no reservation needed. Service was a bit rushed since the place was busy. This was our first time eating at Sweet Maple. We are in town visiting from out of state. Everything was delicious and so unique and fun. The combination of flavors was wonderful. My husband and I shared the Millionaire’s Bacon sample platter, the Blueberry Moffle (mochi waffle), and the Frisco Scrambler. We highly recommend all three! We were lucky and sat outside and it was lovely to enjoy the patio. Definitely give this place a try if you’re in the area.
