Great place with a really nice atmosphere! The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff makes you feel right at home. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The food was good. The service was amazing. I was visiting Chicago with my mom and came across this place. We entered and it was a very good choice. They seat us immediately even when we didn't have a reservation. Our server Omar was very attentive and I really appreciated that he switched to Spanish as soon as he noticed my mom doesn't speak English. We also asked for a tortilla soup to share as a starter and he kindly divided it. Very good.

We ate breakfast here on a Sunday morning and had a good meal. Really wasn't too crowded for a weekend morning, which was nice, especially in a big city. Had some unique breakfast items, many of which looked really good, which made choosing difficult. I ended up being boring and just getting the classic breakfast, but that really is one of my favorite things. It was very good. One unique item was the cheesy potato casserole. They were good, but almost too cheesy (or tangy maybe), if that's possible? I'm more of a straight hashbrown or home potato person, though. My son had the brisket, biscuits, and gravy, which looked and tasted awesome. My wife had the breakfast tacos, which she liked, but were nothing out of the ordinary. My daughter-in-law had the breakfast flatbread, which she loved. It was a large serving, so she couldn't finish it. We had another member of our party get the breakfast burger and I think he was happy with that, as well. Overall, all the food was good to great. Service was really good, as well. Servers were friendly and very attentive. Definitely recommend for a good breakfast spot.

Great good, phenomenal service! I can’t remember the server’s name but he was paying his way through college, looked of mixed African-American complexion with a short Afro. He was so awesome! He also made sure to ask about any dietary restrictions or allergies. The music was great and the food came out super fast.

Highly recommend! The food was delicious and I will go back! The waiter was so nice and accommodating. We didn’t wait long for our food and the drinks were good. They add a 3% surcharge to your bill that can be waived and I thought that was a little odd. However, I’m not from Chicago and I guess that’s a thing. Also, I believe it was the AC that made a loud sound when it turned on. It was a little distracting and my friends and I were startled a few times but we got used to it. Overall, this is a wonderful restaurant and can’t wait to come back!
