I love Taproot Theatre! It's one of my most favorite theatres in Seattle. It's more on the intimate side, but they do amazing things with this space! I'm always so impressed by the detailed and creative sets--and even though it's a smaller space, I feel completely transported into a new world with each show. The actors are always phenomenal, and they play to all directions, so there's not a bad seat in the house. The snacks and drinks are yummy and themed to the current show, which is fun (and they give covered cups so you can drink in the theater). We're really lucky to have Taproot here. Please go see a show and support them! You won't regret it!

Oh my goodness! Run don't walk to Taproot to see their current production, Always, Patsy Cline. Ms Cayman Ilika was AMAZING! I think Pasty Cline would have been flattered. It could not have been a more toe-taping evening as she and the rest of the seriously talented ensemble absolutely nailed Cline's discography. We drive up from West Seattle to support Taproot Theatre. We love the productions. The intimate venue is so charming and feels rather interactive LOL. The players and all the staff that work so hard to support Taproot are uber talented and clearly devoted to their craft!
