Jane is a warm and genuine person. She came over to our house to teach our family how to make pasta during the holidays! It was a wonderful family bonding event. She did a wonderful job guiding everyone and making the experience super fun. It's a great class for children and adults because everyone said they had a great experience. Personally, I believe the experience was mostly amazing because she led it well. Everyone really enjoyed her presence. We were able to make enough pasta for each person and have more left over. We made our own sauces but I suggest getting the sauce added on because it may have been a lot easier to manage the event if Jane had done it for us. She sends you the recipes for sauces if you decide not to add-on the sauces. :)

Thank you so much Jane My family had a lot of fun. You inspired my 16 year old son to cook and make pasta on his own!! I especially loved that you spoke Italian and educated us on the small towns in Italy where the specific pasta we made was from. I would highly recommend this experience! oxoxox

Portland neighborhoods are known for their vibrant food culture, but few places focus on handmade Italian pasta as a social craft. The combination of small class sizes, specialized instruction, and a welcoming environment offers a more intimate and custom experience than large-scale cooking studios. This is perfect for groups seeking a balance of learning, leisure, and fun without the formality of traditional classes. Choosing Team Pasta elevates a meetup from routine restaurant visits into a memorable adventure that guests are likely to talk about long after.

What logistical details should groups consider when planning a meetup at Team Pasta? To maximize enjoyment, groups should consider booking in advance, as Team Pasta’s classes tend to fill due to their popularity and limited size. It’s also wise to communicate any dietary restrictions ahead of time so the instructors can tailor recipes accordingly. Arriving a bit early helps settle the group and allows the instructors to start promptly, ensuring the full experience is enjoyed without rush. Casual, comfortable clothing is recommended to accommodate the hands-on cooking involved. Since the class includes eating what you make, it’s best to come on an empty or lightly fed stomach to fully appreciate the meal. Parking and accessibility depend on the Portland area location, so consulting the business’ website for specifics can help planning.
