Millcreek Canyon is one of the most beautiful trails. Full of green, diverse flowers and yes even a Moose or two. The Terrace picnic area is well set up with plentiful parking, grills and fire pits for roasting marshmallows or just staying warm. The Dog Lake trail is an easy hike of about two miles each way leading to you guessed it, Dog Lake. There’s no question you will enjoy this location. There is a $5 fee assessed on the way out but definitely worth more.

Been first time at this picnic place. Really nice views, quiet and clean. Some flies and hornets were bothering us while we were eating, so we had to finish really quick. Otherwise we had a great time.
