The burger was delicious. I got the Mac Burger that had Mac and cheese in it and bacon. The Mac had a delicious mustardy tang. The soup was even more tasty! The vegetable steak soup is with the visit.

You walk in expecting tavern grub and walk out pleasantly surprised! I came here just to get a burger. The Albert burger was delicious. The patties were thinner than expected, so it’s more smash burger style in that sense. It’s priced for thinner patties though. Most surprisingly, the kale salad was really good! It’s curious to find one on a bar menu. It did not disappoint.

A Yankee bar! Bartenders know what they’re doing. Burgers are a step above most pub burgers & the fries are crispy perfection. Weekends get rowdy with all the sports playing but always a friendly crowd. There’s outdoor seating that’s dog & smoker friendly. The week days are where it’s at, quiet enough with just the locals drinking.

You walk in with the option of going right or left. I went both ways so you’ll get the full story. No one is there to direct you. To the right is the dining area. To the left is the bar with tables. So for lunch go left and dinner go right. The place is clean and very bar like. A few TV’s all playing the same show. The service was quick and normal. I order the pimento cheese burger and the Mac and chili. They were both fine. The chili Mac has some spice, which I like. The burger was overcooked and dry.

This was my first visit to the Albert. It seemed to be an exciting little spot. Seating was pretty tight, but efficient. We sat at an available booth and i did hit my knees on the pole holding the table up. I'm ok though. Lol. Service was decent. We had a few extended breaks between check ins, but it was a holiday. The food was pretty tasty when it came out. I had the kale salad with shrimp and ended up eating the entire salad. I may visit again the next time I'm in the area to try another menu item.
