This is the most underrated secret dating spot in Atlanta. If you want to take your significant other on a date night. This is a perfect spot. Not only does it have bowling has also alternative games, if you don't like bowling, the food is good. The drinks are kind of pricey, but they're okay. And the overall atmosphere is strictly for dating. There are no little kids running around bothering you. It's professional and over.All.I had a great time

A reunion with a friend brought us to The Painted Pin. Pulling into the parking area, I was greeted by the valet. They opened the door for me and directed me to the eclectic oversized door to enter into the building. Everyone I encountered was welcoming. To start the evening, we grabbed drinks from the bar and made our way to sit in a comfortable booth. The shape of the booth made it easy to hear and have conversations while the DJ played music, followed by a fun band playing old-school tunes. We enjoyed pizza and loaded fries, which were very delicious and I highly recommended. The wait staff was very attentive to make sure we had all we needed. We transitioned to bowling, where we had fun, and the service continued to be attentive. This upscale fun center was a great meeting place to talk, play, and enjoy a night out. I will say I had a true WTF moment, which was a purposeful setup. I won't give away the surprise, but they do have a few unexpected installs. The Painted Pin is a great place to meet up for a night of games and good vibes.

Here for the band but lots of bowling and some table top games along with huge booths and a good bar. Only drawback is no seating around the bar, standing only or booths and clustered sofas.

Friday night date with the hubby at this boutique bowling alley. Our first time and it was a vibe. Love the atmosphere! Pizza we ordered was seasoned well and hot on arrival. Server was attentive and friendly. The band on set was average. We enjoyed ourselves and have found a new spot.

We arrived around 5:15PM. The venue was quiet and there was no line or other patrons in the establishment. The staff member at the entrance did not offer a greeting and immediately requested our IDs. I made a lighthearted comment in an attempt to engage her—something along the lines of, "You need to see my ID because I don’t look a day over 18, right?" (I'm 48) Her response was, "I need to see your ID because it's our policy." 5 stars for efficiency, but exactly zero stars for hospitality. Later, my boss—visiting from out of town—arrived after we had left (No fault of the Painted Pin; they were booked with private parties all night so my group of 3 could not stay). When I asked if he was also asked for ID, he confirmed he was and remarked that the staff member at the door "had the personality of a stick." When that is the first interaction at an establishment you've never been to (or one you have for that matter), it makes you not want to go back.
