A center of serenity near DTLA: first, I’m biased. I visit often. It’s a beautiful place with this epic architecture that one rarely finds. It’s really a one of a kind space in LA, and America for that matter. But more than that is the joy of the place. Yes, it’s right off of Hoover and Adams, which can get quite busy. But once you get inside, it’s quite peaceful, the programs are amazing, and the amount of joy is such a relief in contrast to what else is going on. Have been there for breathwork and meditation retreats, music events, a film festival, and for a college dance competition held at the center.

Weekly wisdom nights which are open to all give you that perfect environment to be with your own self which is so rejuvenating. If you are looking for solace, then definitely plan to attend one of their workshops and you would find what you are seeking.

Very impressive architectural design. Nice site to behold. Thought at first was a City Hall of sorts. Surprise that it houses such things as yoga… Must be a treat for those living in the area.
