thank goodness i’m leaving to a different school. i’m grateful for all the wonderful professors i had and for being accepted into this university. unfortunately, i immediately noticed that this school wasn’t for me as soon as it was my orientation. i’ve honestly never disliked school until i came here, which makes me upset because i love to learn. i feel like the admin don’t care about student life and involvement. they don’t push for a community. the school is also not well kept. so many overgrown plants and bushes, rust stained floors, missing ceiling tiles, month-long broken elevators, leaking ceilings, etc. there are literal abandoned buildings on campus. they do not provide the right resources to learn. why am i learning about news anchoring in 25 people capacity room with have it being used by the equipment in the music building where the next room id playing hot cross buns. is that really the best they could do? my high school in an underfunded city a better recording room. its embarrassing and gives highschool vibes.

Though the workers are very nice, they've noticeably gotten very stingy when it comes to giving out drinks. Even when asked for extra inclusions, they never do it and you always have to remind them that you asked for extra. Nice place, but you certainly don't get your bang for your buck.

The only good thing about this university is that it's has a train plantform connected it making it flexible to commute from the LA Union Station to the campus; that why I picked this university to finish most of bachelor credits, but the most absurd part of the university is enrollment process. All newly accepted student are required to attend orientation, and have to pay a fee around 110 dollars, you don't get a lot out of orientation experience, last years orientation, me, and the newly accepted students in my group got a free T CSULA shirt, and an opportunities to dine in the village dinning hall , that wasn't the case this year, all we got is was a pocket folder handed to us, and a bowl of penne pasta. One thing to quickly note for people who want to consider enrolling this school make sure you register, and enroll for classes in your first two semesters or you be required to re attend orientation again. That what happened in my case.

After transferring from ELAC I did almost 3 years at CSULA and I got my Bachelor of Science. I got help whenever I needed from faculty, financial aid and other resources inside the campus. I was able to met great friends and professors too. There is always activities to do inside the campus, every semester they do orientations for new students, often you get emails regarding anything related to our education and campus. I really had a great time when I was student here and now I'm planning to come back to get my Masters degree.
