Bar on Buena is a great local neighborhood pub and gathering place with good food, a great selection of beers, and a casual atmosphere. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try their house made veggie burger - I have had their delicious blue cheese and onion burger several times. And I’m glad that I did. It was flavorful and cooked well and avoided the dense and pasty quality that other house made veggie burgers often suffer. A delightful outdoor seating area that is partially covered places you right in the redlined neighborhood. Just off broadway and a 5 minute walk from the Sheridan L stop makes it pretty easy to get there without the hassle of finding a spot to park.

Stopped in for a cold glass of beer after a long day at work, and it totally hit the spot. Our server, Lana, was so cool and attentive that we ended up staying for some food too. The beer and food selection were both really solid, with something for everyone. The vibe was super chill, the crowd was laid-back, and the prices were very reasonable. We’ll definitely be back! after a long day

Really wanna give the service a SIX OR TEN! Evidently they were short staffed last night. We came in around 630 and we're seated quickly. Beer selection was triumphant, including global, national, regional, and local. Food was limited, but with some excellent choices that we LOVED! That's not the story. THERE WAS ONE WAITRESS! And she ran that joint like a Swiss clock! She had outside tables, inside tables, annoying special requests and questions from us, etc. But she handled it like a CHAMP. So I eased up to the bar to ask the bartender if he could pass along my admiration to the manager. He was the manager, but our waitress was the OWNER! Never got her name, but wow! Go here, eat and drink well, and you will be rewarded!
