We attended the Exploring Curry/ Massaman Curry class with Chef Sunisa Somnuek. Chef Sunisa’s style, delivery and knowledge of the content is extraordinary. Her life time of cooking these remarkable dishes, her family stories and her treasure trove of family recipes, are infectious. Chef Sunisa’s ability to connect with her class and facilitate delicate cooking principals is the high point of the evening. 90% percent of this class was hands on cooking, 5% percent lecture and 5% eating what you prepared! For Chef Sunisa, how you prepare and what you create are the most important part. What was so refreshing was this class wasn’t a commercial for cookware, gadgets or supplies. It was about the journey and reward of creating a wonderful meal with these treasured recipes and skills. And yes, our table’s Curry and Chicken Satay was TD4 (to die for). We will be back for more classes. They staff the warehouse with a team to allow you to shop after the class. Tali was such a lovely and charming help to us- even recommended a fine Mediterranean Restaurant! While we were there we took advantage of the discount the Warehouse gives you for attending the class. I left with a Smithy Wok and some dishtowels, because hey, who doesn’t need more dishtowels? My highest recommendation I can give. BRAVO to Chef Sunisa and Tali.

6 years later and I'm finally writing a review. I took the Lunar New Year Celebration class in January 2019 where I learned how to make my own Chinese dumplings....to this day, I still use the same recipe the chefs shared with us as the base of my dumplings. And in the 6 years, I have been able to develop my skills from what I was taught in the class, but the basis they provided me was the perfect springboard to what I am making now! Hundreds of dumplings later, and I am one happy student!

I visited The Cook’s Warehouse based on a recommendation from Facebook. Upon arrival you’ll see the Publix and it’s tucked on the left side of a walkway. They had some really great stuff at great prices. Mary Francis was super helpful and I found out they have classes on their website. While getting your cookware check out their gourmet oils and vinegar they are really delicious. I got the caramelized garlic oil and fig balsamic. They only had hand carts so bring a wagon if you are shopping for heavy items.
