Beautiful and peaceful place to spend a few hours in nature. The gardens are full of vibrant flowers, water features, and shaded walking paths. It’s a relaxing spot, but be prepared for lots of walking. You’ll see everything from buzzing bees and wasps to families with young kids, couples taking photos, and flower-loving retirees soaking it all in. There’s a good mix of open lawns and more secluded, shady spots with streams and ponds. Great for nature lovers, photographers, or just a calm day out. Definitely bring water, wear comfy shoes, and maybe some bug spray — the insects are part of the experience! 🌺🦋🌿

Visited the Dallas Arboretum with my family and really enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The botanical gardens are well maintained, peaceful, and very kid friendly, making it a great spot for a family outing. Be aware that entry is not free. We spent just over $60 for two adults plus a parking fee. Parking was $15 and each adult ticket was around $25. The garden closes at 5 PM, and for those driving, the gates close at 6 PM. Overall, it is a lovely place to visit and worth experiencing at least once, especially if you enjoy nature and taking in a variety of flowers and plants. Just plan your budget and timing ahead.

On my goodness! We had such an amazing time and experience at the Dallas Arboretum! My granddaughter surprised me with this outing. We took many photos. The gardens are so calming, and the water features are so beautiful . We were able to visit the owner's home. Ot was like a step back in time. It is so beautiful and elegant. There was a tour guide in every room and they were very knowledgeable of that time in history. They answered questions and knew so much more. The grounds of plants and flowers were so vibrant. We were in awe of the things that we saw. Also, they had this huge statue of the granny's sitting on a bench talking . It was gigantic ! They were many more statues throughout the park. Everything was truly beautiful .

Absolutely beautiful and the staff was very sweet. Possibly the best arboretum I have been to. Beautifully maintained and just gorgeous with all kinds of nooks and crannies. Can't wait to go back when the butterfly garden is finished. It was under construction in July.
