What a fun experience! My friends took us out on the waters with an electric boat with this company. Check in was quick and easy with the friendly staff. We were shown to our boat and we were off on our own in minutes. The boat was easy to maneuver and fortunately it wasn't crowded in the bay so it was easy to navigate around. We were out for 2 hours and it flew by. It was so relaxing and fun. We brought along wines and snacks for our trip. The water was pretty calm that day. The weather was nice too. We were comfortable. If it got too windy or cold, we zipped up one plastic panel to block the wind.

This was my third time planning a team event with the Electric Boat Company. It's such a unique experience and always a hit with the team! Their staff are easy to work with, responding quickly and with patience with my many questions and adjustments. They are very helpful and are great partners in planning. Also, their catering is great! I wasn't sure what to expect but we usually get the fruit, charcuterie, vegetable, and dessert trays and they're beautiful and overflowing with a great variety of food. My favorite part of the electric boat company is that they think of everything - down to forks/cups/napkins, coolers with ice, and wine and snacks for purchase in the office - in case you forget anything. Also captains hats! Bluetooth speakers and recycle bins on the boat are nice touches. Parking is easy in a big lot out front - and very affordable. The bathrooms are clean and indoors - another worry for the group because we didn't know what to expect from a bathroom on the dock. Totally ok! Better than ok. Two hours was totally enough for our event, though we could have gone longer since we were having a good time. Highly recommend for work, or any events. I'm already looking forward to next year's spring event!

I bought a Groupon coupon to do this experience. Upon arrival, I was glad that I had a disabled parking placard as the parking lot was full. Upon check-in, the man showed us the two different routes we could take on our adventure. We chose the senic route that goes by the house boats and gas works park. It was a relaxing ride, putting around the lake. Four of us went together, and all of us enjoyed it. I brought snacks and drinks for our outing. There is a table in the middle that accommodates the food nicely. Even though the boat holds 10 people, I wouldn't necessarily recommend that due to space and the option to move around the boat taking pictures. The reason for deducting one star is that I had difficulties with making my reservation online. I called several times, and nobody answered. I left several messages. They did call back, but I missed the call. I immediately rang back the number that was on my phone. Nobody answered, and I was unable to leave a message. The day before my reservation request, I was able to call them and speak to a live person to book our trip.

This business is such a pleasant Seattle experience. The rental office is super helpful and suggests the best slots to pick the boat. The routes can be lake union or Ballard. The boats are always available so you can rent one without too much planning when you see a sunny day. The boats are well maintained and come with plenty of seating space, Bluetooth Audio sound system and tables for food if you want to make it a picnic on the boat. They are easy to drive. They provide you with ice boxes and you can purchase wine and snacks at the renal place. There is a deli nearby if you want to get sandwiches. Brian at the rental office was the best and made it easy for us to reserve.
