What can I say about this company there a group of people that care immensely about the homeless population and they do whatever they can do to assist. I was searching for months for a good place to do my volunteer work. Every week I would try a different place. Once I went to this place and met the director and the assistant director, I decided that this is the place that I wanted to do my volunteer work at. I have added myself to a weekly schedule to help these people. I also use my resources to try to get donations to this place. If you're a person that cares about people and want to help people this is a great outlet. They can always use the help from people who care. And don't worry if you can't find a babysitter if you have too much time and you have to be with the kids all the time just make arrangements with them and they will allow you to bring your children to help also it's a good learning experience for your children. I recommend this place for anybody who cares about people give them a call. If you have items that you would like to donate to help the homeless food items are non-perishable or anything call them they're going to distribute the items you give to these people that need them the most.

This place provides an excellent service to our community. I had the chance to volunteer and saw firsthand the need in our community. Please consider volunteering or donating. They also provide clothing and essential items for the homeless. Men's socks are always in need along with other Men's essential clothing items, shoes, jackets, and gloves (in the winter). Travel size toiletries are also frequently needed. This place is run by the local Catholic cathedral (La Madeline).

Open for donations on Sunday, which is convenient. The gentleman who took my call and gave me directions was really helpful. He was also kind and humane, obliging the lady asking to have a few blooms off the property's rose bushes. He's in the right line of work, I hope he's compensated fairly.

This place is the high point of a lot of people's day. The smiles the volunteers give as they hand out sack lunches to the homeless are some days the only kind human contact these folks get. It's a darned shame it's closing. This is the end of an era and i will miss it. I began taking my grandson with me to hand out sack lunches when he was 14 months old. I'd give them their lunch & drink, my grandson Levi would ask them, "Apple? Apple?" And the people were so happy to see him. I'm sad it's leaving.

Situated near the cathedral, this is a place for people in need to receive sack lunches (once per day). Sometimes they have other food as well. The volunteers are very nice, and are there because they are wanting to help. The sack lunches usually have a sandwich, chips, cookie/granola bar, and fruit. Other items may be included as well. They also give one cup of a choice of drinks.
