Richard the program manager is a liar and looks at you as a number and a paycheck. Heloisa the therapist also does the same. She will agree upon a plan and then change it and lie to you as well. They also never respond to your emails. The staff that runs groups do seem to care but not the actual therapists or management.

I have been a client with VOA for 3 years and counting. I am lacking the words to fully describe how grateful i am for the support i have received from VOA! The case managers i have had have all been so good to me, but hands down the case manager i have more, David Witt, is nothing of not ahhhfreakingmazing! The level of support is unmatched! Because his title is my housing case manager you would think that he would only be doing with issues that have to deal with my housing that is not true this gentleman has gone with me to court and spoke to the judge on my behalf he has gone with me to every avenue and business that I have needed to go to to put my life on track from counseling and treatment programs, he has taking me to grocery stores , voc rehab he has gotten information for me regarding college courses that I need to take and also he has filled out paperwork that has to do with my disability he has made sure my paperwork's were in order he has copied, filed, mailed and then kept for future purposes all of my important documents. I mean the list truly does go on and on with things that he has done for me and I honestly know that I wouldn't be in a good place that I am today without his help I for real feel like he does MOST OF my paperwork probably because his handwriting so much better than mine?! Lol,. It's because he truly cares about my well-being and that is just one way that he's able to help support me to move forward and accomplish the necessary tasks that are demanded of me. I honestly feel so very blessed she need the recipient of services from VOA. When I first met with VoA, I was homeless and hopeless. Today I am maintaining sobriety taking care of all legal obligations and I have hopes of one day owning and operating my own small business and I am 8currently pursueing an education so I can do just that ...of course with the help of VOA! So if you find yourself in need of a helping hand for any reason whatsoever and especially needing help finding a home, call ,call, call, because everyone deserves a chance to live a good life . VOA ADVOCATES WILL HELP YOU BUILD THAT LIFE! THANK YOU VOA!.

Contacted the director of community engagement several times about a mentally ill homeless person camping out in our back driveway who was evicted by the country Sherriff for engaging in illegal prostitution on the premises and leaving rotten food and trash all over the yard. The county sheriff wants him off the property by Monday. The director at homeless outreach team failed to return my calls every time. VOA brags about all the good things their doing in our neighborhood, but I have not seen one member of VOA in my neighborhood in the last year. If VOA is not going to perform the services they offer, they have no business asking Salt Lake City to financially support their mission which does not perform. If you want Salt Lake City's financial support then get out into the neighborhoods and let's see you actually helping these people. Thank You

Had to veer out of the way & honk to avoid sideswipe from employee in VOA blue Subaru with license plate starting with F0G or 6. Terrifying & extremely dangerous. Please screen employees who drive your vehicles more carefully. Caucasian female driver with blonde curly hair in 30's -40's. October 30 at 3:05 pm 4500 South. We're driving West on 4500 and car comes speeding out of 300 West crossing 6 lanes of traffic, coming within inches and continuing to go to get into Southbound freeway lanes.

These guys are a joke!! Do not use them or believe a thing they say..they have a " homeless outreach team" that should be renamed homeless screwover team..they are so nice and caring to your face and tell you all these great things there going to help you with .but it's all lies..they keep important mail from you even when you have proof it's been delivered there you still will not get it.. especially if the know it's your food stamp card .they want us to either freeze to death or die from hunger or food poisoning from the expired yucky food they bring to us..but that's all they want us to have is what they bring us..so they can show all there wonderful pictures of there screwover team helping to those poor homeless people out there..it's all lies there in the mayor's pocket and on her same agenda to exterminate the homeless people of Utah..they need to be shut down and exposed for the torment and anguish they cause to the people out here..it's crazy I wished I could tell you everything but I get fired up and forget so much of the inhumane things they do to us all under a sweet calm smile and telling there sweet lies..don't believe it talk to the people on the streets before you donate to this wicked org.. there's way better volunteers out here helping people that ask for no donations or recognition. That's where donations should go..not these mendenhall cronys trying to exterminate us under a vail of lies .
