Fun fun fun! Do not do what I did and park out on the street. It's a long walk back to to the Derby building. Drive beside the building and you'll be much closer to the end. This was my 1st ever time seeing a Roller Derby live. I've only seen them on television or movies. It was very entertaining, and you could see that even though there were multiple teams competing, it seemed that all of the participants had mutual respect. Some of the players cheered for other players on the opposite team. I didn't take as many pictures as I should have, but I did get a few shots. I don't understand the rules, but I absolutely plan to go again and try harder next time. This time was all about the experience. There was a concession stand, but I did not check it out so I don't know what they offered. It was $20 to see a double header.. Apparently they have the Derby once a month. There was an opportunity to buy shirts and others printed items. Bathrooms inside and port a potty's outside. Be aware that it was freezing cold in the building. It makes sense to keep it so cold because the Derby girl's probably get roasting hot. So take a jacket.

This was my first time attending roller derby. It was a little more expensive than I thought $25 to get in the door. But it was very easy to learn how it was played and the announcer explained everything as the night went on. The seats were just metal bleachers so it wasn't very comfortable however it only lasts about 2 hours but I would recommend taking a cushion. Parking was limited but it was easy to get in and get out I plan on returning next month as they have events once a month. It was a good time.
