It was the best improv show that I ever watched and exactly what I imagined (more than I can imagine actually)! We went on a Sunday night for Deep Schwa, which is a group that I didn’t know before. But I become their fan on that night. The team was so coherent and creative. And they are one of the longest Herald teams. They are legendary!!!! The whole venue is full of surprises! Go explore!

This place is a fantastic find for a fun and affordable night out. I went for an improv show for the first time and it was hilarious! The venue has a perfectly chill and relaxed vibe. There's a main bar area where you can grab drinks, and the shows take place in an adjoining room where you can continue to enjoy your food and drinks while you watch. What really makes this place a standout is the value. They have a completely free improv show every Wednesday, which is an amazing deal. Even for their other performances, tickets are less than $20, which is a great price for a live show of this quality. If you're looking for a low-key spot with guaranteed laughs, I highly recommend checking it out.

I saw Improvised Shakespeare…. I literally laughed till my stomach hurt. Such an amazing show. The venue is awesome and very inclusive. I was just visiting Chicago, but when I return, IO will be on the list. Oh…. The buffalo chicken wrap was also delicious.

This is a great space for aspiring actors, comedians to sharpen and further develop their skills. The theater offers drop in classes for those who want to have an acting / improvisational experience. They also offer classes with different levels of difficulty / expectation / involvement. Classes range from level 1 through level 5. Students also get to showcase their talents for an audience. A great place to learn, great instructors, and a great place to expand your horizons.

Great environment and great team members. I came from out of town and work in theater in my hometown. I was met with genuine conversation by the team members about our experiences. And the shows were top notch! We don't have a theater like this in my hometown with multiple stages, multiple shows nightly, a full service restaurant, and the passion to teach their craft. But dang do I wish we did. These folks made me consider moving here to study with them.
