The Joyce is one of my favorite venues in the City. It’s beautifully designed, very clean, and the seats are actually pretty comfortable. Not the typical tight squeeze at a Broadway theater. The staff, both regular and volunteer, are very nice, helpful and courteous. Most recently I was privileged to have seen Ronald Brown’s Evidence and the Joyce was the perfect place. It’s not a large theater; definitely more on the intimate side, with no bad seat in the house. On this occasion I was in row ‘H,’ first seats in, and it was great. The Joyce has many different types of performances that you’ll not easily find anywhere else. All in a beautiful and well designed space. Looking forward to my next visit!
