I found this place randomly looking for a hidden gem in downtown LA and it didn't disappoint at all! It was the absolute gen for my trip to LA this year! It was like entering to another world. I love it! So much to see and many really good books! The Vinyl section is a must is you look for unique pieces at good prices! It blows my mind every time I remember the time I spent on the library it wasn't enough. I must say that even the bathrooms were very decent and clean, reminded me of high-school but nevertheless a great facility with very friendly people. Also please stop by the second floor art hall and do yourself a favor and buy a coffee, it is absolutely delicious!

This book store is amazing, but… The store is incredible and well worth the visit to DTLA. I’d say it’s a must for any true lover of books and reading. Now for the but… if you’re also a coffee lover, I would recommend you skip the upstairs option. It’s a cup of luke-warm coffee (out of a can) with the only milk option being a honey almond milk. There’s plenty of good coffee within walking distance. All in all, The Last Great Bookstore is an awesome and cool spot to visit and I highly recommend it.
