Love, love, LOVE this venue! I have been coming to the Rady Shell since it opened. The sound is flawless and has such a beautiful view. Whether it is a movie the orchestra is playing the score for or a concert, it is all amazing! Food and drinks are a little pricey so consider eating before you arrive.

THE BEST music venue you have ever seen! The acoustics are amazing, the views are inspiring, and it is so OPEN and accessible ( no walls or high fences). Whether you watch the San Diego Symphony or Dolly Parton or Peter Frampton or a whole variety of music options, you will love this place. It is so beautiful, day or night. The layout is so great for people strolling by; they can hear the music and even see the stage. Also, the grass field in the back is a terrific place to spread out a blanket and have a picnic. The screens are so big that you have a great view from any location. The gourmet hamburgers, made by Chef Mario at Urban Kitchen, are pure perfection. There are many healthy ( and decadent/ yummy ) meal options. For dessert, I recommend the big, fresh cookies ( served by the popcorn stand ). Go have a perfect date!
