Got a bed upstairs once. Priority entry for people that get paid beds when the place opens. Then after all the paid customers go in, all the “do-nothing”losers get to enter afterwords. If you pay a little extra, you get a paid room upstairs. The perks of having this room instead of a bed in the main area, is that you get to come and go when you ever you please, Instead of having to wait until shelter hours. Great place if you have money and a job and you actually do something with your time. If you don’t work, you are pretty much out on your rear.

I remember hard times long lines in the snow just to get turned down , it filled up quickly. I remember having to pick numbers out of a jar if you didn't make it head to the back of the line and try again. Then run as fast as you can to Jesus saves to get one of the 3 beds left lol. Omg .
