Proudly shop here on a weekly basis because the selection is incredible for what I constantly find myself looking for, but the staff here are ignorant on the best days and seriously incompetent on the worst. They straight up lose pieces of tech at the front desk after removing every button and dial from every piece of audio equipment in the store. I love it here but it’s Chicago gen-pop at it’s finest.

selection is good but when you're robbing the poor off free items the charm is gone. 100$ for a used painting?? $12 for broken sunglasses & the like is truly insulting to see. "The cost of running the store isn't free" and it's not $100/an item either. Poachers.

This store is exceptionally well organized. You can find furniture and misc large items here that you won't find at many other thrift shops- like sewing machines, vacuum cleaners, and on and on. BUT you will also pay more at this store than other discount stores in the area. They actually have some prices, where I can find the item new in retail stores for the same or maybe even less. They have fitting rooms, and a designer area. Also LOTS of space down the aisles. The selection is HUGE, as is this location.

I would normally donate all of my items to the Salvation Army. Will stop doing this based on my last several experiences dropping off items at this Salvation Army on Clybourn. I’m not sure who is in charge of hiring, managing and monitoring at this location, but my experience (of the mainly male) employees who do the intake at the drop off are incredibly rude, not only to myself but to other people who simply wanted to know where to put the items in the correct bins. I understand it can be a lot dealing with people all the time, but there should be protocols in place on how to deal with the public. Especially the people who are trying to do the right thing and make donations. I will only give my items to Goodwill.moving forward.

Super cool experience walking into the store. They had lots of available items a large women’s section a large golf section which was pretty cool. The electronics were impressive and I saw a couple pieces of furniture that I might come back for and get the staff seem to be well adjusted to moving around the environment and helping individuals out and it was also quite a few people inside of the building at the same time.
