Especially beautiful performance by the Sleeping Beauty, prince & Maleficent. Complete absence of scene decor/design & a very small dance floor are a minus. It’s a very small theater, not too much room for the dancers to move so not too much action vs professional ballet performances. Lit up costumes with flying Medusa effect are interesting but it results in you observing more of the lit up costume in the dark thus diminishing visibility of the dance itself. Not a professional ballet setup as is hinted by the name but rather an interesting take on the classic. The choreography is bit too simple & even this small dance floor might allow for more action. The dancers are quite professional & should be allowed to fully show what they are capable of.

Sheen Center is a small theater but it just makes everything more homey like they are performing for you. There is a small stage, a first floor and a balcony. Everyone is so very nice. There is a concession stand and they offer food for purchase before the show and you can bring it into the theatre and enjoy while watching the performance. I went to see the Electronic Swan Lake. The ballerina costumes are lit up in lights so as they dance they shimmer from the lights and not necessarily from the fabric of their costumes. The cast was not as experienced as the Lincoln Center ballets but they try and this lets them practice their skills to maybe reach the spot light one day. This is not as big as Lincoln Center or as professional as Lincoln Center but more like a home town experience which I find perfectly great. Thank You everyone for the wonderful performances.
