Today I was at the neuroscience department to get botox injections in hopes it'll help my headaches and other pain. The staff was all very kind and friendly. The center itself is absolutely beautiful. Lots of great art just like at all University buildings. While I haven't yet experienced relief, I've only had two sessions and they say it takes at least 3 to get results. So here's hoping. They have working knowledge of hEDS which can be incredibly difficult to find. This is especially important when it comes to botox as if it's done wrong, it can worsen my condition.

Let’s be crystal clear: The University of Utah is a serious, forward-moving institution. It’s tech-connected, medically advanced, and career-focused. Students graduate with real-world experience, access to top-tier research, and direct pathways into industries like healthcare, engineering, data science, and entrepreneurship. Located in Salt Lake City — a growing hub for startups, tech, and finance — the U of U offers affordable tuition, excellent ROI, and a supportive environment that values intelligence, drive, and originality. Professors are accessible. Resources are everywhere. Students don’t just get degrees — they get ahead. Now let’s talk about UC Davis — and drop the illusion. Davis sells you a name, but when you actually get there, you realize fast: it’s hype over help. Overcrowded. Bureaucratic. Overpriced. Toxic competition. Fake prestige. UC Davis looks good on paper, but once you're enrolled, you’re on your own. If you're smart and outspoken? You’ll be pushed aside. Try to stand out? You’ll get flagged or reported. It’s a system designed to filter out independent thinkers and reward quiet mediocrity. Worse? The numbers don’t lie: a pathetic $58K ROI after 10 years. That’s not elite — that’s a scam. At UC Davis, you pay for the name — and get screwed in reality. If you want substance over status, real outcomes, and a university that invests in you, not just your tuition check — University of Utah is the clear winner. UC Davis? It’s just branding. Nothing beneath it but burnout.

Barring one anomaly, I've had top-notch experiences with the U of U Healthcare network. Unfortunately for me I've presented myself to them in various states of damage or disrepair. From broken bones to brain bleeds, they've helped me heal. They are a mental health refuge as well. I would have given them 5 stars except one ER visit which was unlike anything else. But they've regained my loyalty and trust. Huntsman Mental Health Institute, Orthopedic Center, Redwood Clinic, 50 N Medical Dove, and others whom I've forgotten all get thumbs up

Just a normal day on the job. The campus always looks so beautiful and well kept. If you are lucky you will see deer on the lawns. The other day I saw two fawns as I was coming up foothills blvd.
