What a great toy store. I have heard people say that this is the best toy store in all of Portland. Unfortunately, I don't have any children in my life, so I'm not usually in the market for toys. But it is fun to walk around and see the toys and games that remind me of my childhood. Today I saw the Chutes and Ladders game! Such memories!

I was just talking with a co-worker with a three year old boy "Frank the Tank," and I asked him if he had ever taken Frank to Thinker Toys. I remember taking my boy so many times there when he was little, back in the early 2000s. I miss Thinker Toys, and I'm envious of those with young kids today, because it's such a unique experience, and it's right there in the cool little hamlet of Multnomah Village. I'm so glad that the next gen owners are virtual clones of the founders, because Thinker Toys is such an iconic Portland landmark.
