I went for pedicure and gel manicure today. Just before the appointment, I broke my toe nail in half. Hanna was super patient with me and worked her way around my broken toenail. We discussed in detail, what could we do best with that. She was really thoughtful and still painted my nails, without rushing. It took us more than an hour but she was very sincere about it. Overall great salon. This salon is spacious and felt better than rest of the counterparts in the area. It has a dedicated parking in the complex and situated next to El Camino tea, which is a great location. I would highly recommend this place.

The worst nail experience in my life! I walked in asking to have my shellac nails removed and she told me it will be $10. She started commenting on how beautiful my nails are and how she doesn’t believe they are my real nails! That should have been my first red flag! 🚩 She started filing with an electric drill and was so rough that recoiled my hand because of the pain she caused, and shockingly she told me it hurts because my nail is too long?! 🙄 Then she started wrapping my nails and suddenly she was like … oh actually your nail is not shellac, so it will be $15. There is NO WAY a trained nail tech can’t tell the difference between shellac and acrylic, but she insisted it was not shellac. I stood firm and insisted back that I have shellac because I know what I have, but agreed if she wants to charge me $15 I am fine with since I am already half way there. But she didn’t stop there with the sudden price gauge!! When I said fine charge $15, she says oh no… it is actually powder and very thick and it will take more than AN HOUR to remove I have to charge you more than $15. Straight up SCAM artist. I was so outraged I stormed out with the foils still on my fingers. By the time I got home, which was like 8 mins away, my shellac nails that was wrapped in acetone has already melted off to a point that I am flaking it off with my finger. I included the video as proof. This lady not only a scam but didn’t even care or apologize for injuring me and would lie for $5 bucks. Stay away!

Before I share my experience, if you don’t personally mind leaving a salon bruised and bleeding, you might like it here. My advice to the nail technician ladies who work here is slow down, take your time and please be more gentle to any future customers. Thank you. My first impression here as a new customer is everyone is pretty friendly, average prices and convenient. I was referred by a family friend, who is no longer a loyal customer of 6 years. She later ended up having unpleasant experiences here. I’ve had a total of 3 appointments so far at this salon, my first 2 appointments were decent… even though during my gel manicure I was cut by the nail tech. She proceeded to continue until I mentioned I was bleeding which was obvious. She cleaned it up and finished. I still kept a positive attitude at this point because it seemed like a simple mistake. The cut was on my cuticle and happened from the electric drill filer. The pain lasted about a week. My last appointment recently was for a French acrylic manicure and gel pedicure. It was one lady doing my pedicure and one lady doing my manicure. They did both at the same time which was uncomfortable. The lady who did my manicure did good but she was very rough so it was a bit painful. The lady doing my pedicure is the reason I won’t be returning here ever again. She cut my toenails down to the nubs, before asking me if I was ok with the length. Other than that everything else was fine up until she starting cutting my toe cuticles. She cut a big piece of skin on the side of my toe and continued to work on it while itwas continuously bleeding… I asked her if it was going to be okay to work on. I really didn’t want to have to stop the whole process, I just wanted to make sure it wouldn’t get infected or later cause more pain. She cleaned it up and told me it was an ingrown nail, which was not there before I arrived. All in all, the pedicure is decent definitely not worth pain or price. My toe is now sore and bruised on my birthday weekend.
