Positive feedback often highlights the vast selection of wines, beers, and spirits, with patrons appreciating both the breadth and quality of offerings. Many reviews compliment the knowledgeable, friendly staff who enhance the shopping experience by providing expert advice tailored to individual tastes and occasion needs. Great customer service! Was visiting from out of town wanted to check out a total wine since I am familiar with the store in the Midwest. Very helpful and insight on wine. Introduced me to a new wine, that is always exciting! Thank you again.!!! :)

They have the better deals and prices. I enjoy the sample selections they frequently have. If it's something new recently released they will be first to get item in store. Sign up for the rewards program for half off or discounted bottles. Grab a basket you'll need it!

My husband and I went in to this location and while browsing the store my husband needed to use the restroom and asked but was denied. According to the law….“In Texas, retail establishments with employee restrooms must allow customers to use them during business hours if there isn't a public restroom immediately available and if doing so doesn't pose a health, safety, or security risk. This is commonly referred to as "Ally's Law". Never the less he had to walk .5 miles to HEB, which are also not public restrooms but can be used by paying customers, in order to use the restroom. As a paying customer and a previous retail manager I found the way they handled this to be inconsiderate and not in accordance to Texas law.

Very disappointing experience at this location. I've shopped at various Total Wine stores before, including this one, but after today, I won’t be returning. I was treated with unwarranted suspicion and rudeness by management—presumably because I look young (I am overage). I understand and respect the need to verify age, but there’s a professional and respectful way to do that. This was not it. I visited the store with a friend who, at checkout, realized she had forgotten her wallet—an honest mistake that happens. It wasn’t a big deal, since I had my valid ID and was the one purchasing. But instead of handling it reasonably, management came out from the back and, in a dismissive and condescending tone, told us they wouldn’t sell us alcohol and that we were banned from the store for 24 hours. As a law student, I completely understand the legal precautions stores have to take. If they have a rule that customers both need to have IDs for them to make a sale I understand that and that is an honest mistake on our end. What I take issue with is the way we were spoken to—as if we were trying to get away with something, rather than just being two customers trying to make a purchase. I even asked if we could leave our full carts at the front for someone else to come pick up, and the manager agreed. But when a third person arrived to do exactly that, she was also turned away, banned for 24hrs, told she was now “affiliated with minors.” It didn’t just stop there. I later called the store to calmly explain how off-putting and unnecessary the entire situation felt, hoping to have a constructive conversation. Instead, the acting manager doubled down and responded with blatant unprofessionalism—going so far as to tell me to "grow up", that he "couldn't care less if we gave the store our business", and that I should "never visit this location again". The management at this location was cold, condescending, and presumptuous throughout the experience. I don’t normally leave reviews or complain, and I made no effort to escalate things in person. But the way we were treated—based on assumptions and without basic decency—was unacceptable. Just because someone doesn’t look like they’re in their 50s doesn’t mean they aren’t legally allowed to buy alcohol. This was so disappointing, I don't blame Total Wine as a company. I blame the management in this specific location. In a job of customer service, you can and should do better.

Very disappointing experience at this location. As someone who lives in the neighborhood and shops here frequently, I expected better. Today, the assistant manager, Matt, refused to sell to my friend despite her having valid ID. He gave no clear reason for his refusal and even went so far as to threaten to call the police when we asked for an explanation. I also witnessed multiple other customers purchase liquor without being asked for ID, so the treatment felt unfair and inconsistent. I won’t be returning.
