my partner and i both consider ourselves to have originated from the musical family tree. as luck would have it, i found myself in search of cables and f-x pedals and was east-bound on Division. this store was right in front of me, as luck would have it. they have a selection and were able to accept my payment!

Brought in my guitar to be repaired--it needed new pins, new strings, and for the back panel to be glued. Time estimate was 2 weeks. Went in after 3 weeks and no repairs of any kind had been done. Apparently the pins were on back order. I understand backorder is what is is, but they had my phone number and could have, at any time, called and told me of the delay, or asked me if I wanted different pins (I would have said yes, I just want my guitar repaired, I don't care what kind), or started working on the back...like, literally anything other than what they did, which was nothing. I kind of wonder if it would have just sat there indefinitely if I hadn't come by to ask. I have it back now but that's 3 weeks down the drain. Incredibly unimpressed by how this store handled the situation of pins being on backorder. Like...what the hell.

John was awesome! After a very exhausting and emotional week, I discovered my old guitar was broken just when I needed a musical outlet! I was feeling really vulnerable going in for assistance because I really only play occasionally, and not well. John was so welcoming, warm, and supportive of any level of musical endeavor -- he helped me figure out a repair and I even felt comfortable to try out new guitars 🥹 I left with a new lil ibanez acoustic/electric that is so comfy for me to play--didn't need that much guitar but I really like what I got and I appreciated being able to try out so many options without feeling absolutely overwhelmed 🥰 Thanks John!!!!! Your kindness goes a long way!!

These guys are vultures feeding off the down and out on a criminal basis compared to the vibe that’ one gets when he is lowballed to a 20$ bill regarding the offer on a very expensive and desirable snare drum or set of hi hat cymbals. “ We have to put new heads on it and wires to sell it”….. none of the other drums have new heads or wires, or cases or come with the attitude I bet either. Why am I treated like a criminal because I have so many instruments here?
