Nice little trail with a small winding creek alongside. There is parking on the side of Traver Road for maybe two cars. The trail is mostly dirt, with one small footbridge. There is slight trail erosion at some spots due to bikes and flooding from the creek. Technically, this park does not have access to Dhu Varren Woods Nature Area. However, there is a trail that connects them that is well-worn about halfway along. It crosses the railroad tracks, which is trespassing. If you decide to cross like most people do, just be aware that the tracks are active. The trail also extends northward outside of the park boundary all the way to Dhu Varren Road; this is also not part of the official park.
