This place was awesome! Me and my wife went there to see Amigo the Devil, which we had been looking forward to for quite some time. To our delight, a woman by the name of Suzanne Santo was there. She didn't have a band with her but she didn't need one. She was a beautiful soul with an amazing voice, and she put on one h*** of a performance. Afterward, TK and the Holy Know Nothings came on, and they were very energetic even though some of the songs were on the slower side (which I love). Then, last but not least, Amigo the Devil. I highly recommend going here! Amigo the Devil was amazing. Danny is a big teddy bear who really cares. I know this is supposed to be a review about Trees but the bands we saw were the hype of the night. I definitely loved the fact that there were trees in the establishment. It made it feel like home. ✨️

Historical Deep Ellum venue is an excellent place to see and HEAR live music in Dallas. The sound is incredible. I was very impressed with how clear and well mixed the bands were. The downstairs can get pretty crowded depending on the performers, but the upstairs balcony has excellent seating and restroom access. Capacity seemed to be somewhere in the 650 to 750 range, so if you can see a top tier performance in a smaller setting (as opposed to a 13,000 seat hall) it's always a treat. Cannot say enough for the quality of the audio.
