A great pit stop before entering the main thoroughfare of Dallas. Definitely worth a short visit or perhaps a pause in a trip to take in the view of the city and its bridges. The area seems to be under renovation with nearby apartments being built, so this might be a more welcoming area with permanent local residents in the future. 1-hour parking is enough to check out the river walk and walk on the bridge. The parking lot had some broken glass, trash and drivers who sped through the lot to get to the main road, so I chose to park there for a short 10 minute run rather than parking for the full hour.

Great spot with lots of room and trails winding up and down the Trinity. As a woman I wouldn’t go at night but day time is filled with people working out and families, people walking their dogs etc. really nice views of all the bridges too.
