I've ordered the Caribbean Roast from the other Un Bien location before, so I decided to switch it up and go with the Press this time. The Press is similar, but it excludes lettuce & jalapenos, and instead comes with banana peppers, smoked ham, and swiss cheese, in addition to the pork. It's also melted in a press after assembly This sandwich was interesting. I noticed right away that the pork felt a little dry on the half that I was eating - like it was overcooked a bit. That was definitely odd. Thankfully, the next half of the sandwich contained pork that was as juicy as ever, but it was definitely pretty weird what happened in the first half. Not sure if they accidentally overcooked that batch or something However, the rest of the sandwich was as good as ever. The hard but not overly chewy bread, the ridiculous amounts of amazing-tasting mayo, and the best-i've-ever-had-level caramelized onions are standards you'll find on pretty much every sandwich. As for what's new on The Press, i liked the smoked ham the best - it had a ton of flavor. The cheese was fine - I thought it could have been melted more as it was a little stretchy, but overall still tasted quite good For the price of around $14, this is a really good deal as far as sandwiches go Is The Press as good as the #1, the Caribbean Roast? I wouldn't say so. However, I still do think its a fantastic sandwich in its own right, and I'll still be recommending Un Bien to absolutely everyone who will listen. 8.5/10

Was highly recommended so decided to give it a try. On a Saturday afternoon there was only a short line. The staff was super helpful in answering all allergy concerns and gave good options. We ended up ordering the Caribbean Roast and un bien prawns. Both was really flavorful and would order again. Lots of outdoor seating.

They have a sign that says #1 sandwich in Washington, and I've believed it from the first bite. Hands down, it is the best Cuban sandwich shop I've ever been to.
