I stopped by Union Square Park after work to relax and it was the perfect spot to unwind. The atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming, a good mix of people, music, and movement. You’ll see everything from street performers to locals playing chess and there’s always something interesting going on. The park is clean and has plenty of benches and shaded spots to just sit and take it all in. The green market nearby is a great bonus if you’re into fresh produce or handmade goods. Being surrounded by shops and easy subway access makes it super convenient too. Overall, Union Square Park is a great place to recharge and experience the real energy of New York City.

Nice park, not too many homeless people sleeping here. They had a farmers market here today. Lots of things to do nearby which is why we walked through here.

Iconic monument in the heart of the city. Seen this monument in so many movies and tv shows. Such a vibrant and radiant culture in the park. There's always something going on and the food smells will make you drop everything to grab a bite and come back. Free concerts and breakout bands perform here

One of several urban oasis’s that makeup Manhattan’s “green” zones, USP to me is second only to Central Park when it comes to shade and peace, as well as amenities like seating and refreshments. (Many ppl would rank Bryant Park at number 2 for the entertainment provided there.USP is known for its bustling farmers market throughout the year, as well as for its year-end festive season markets. Also well served by public transportation, the park is a great hub for nearby attractions such as restaurants and retail in Flatiron, SoHo, Madison Square, Park Ave. S, Chelsea and other nearby districts.
