Best salon I've been to. Great customer service, they always work with you to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for. I personally have had a hard time with previous salons knowing what to do and what not to do with my ethnic hair which is long, dark, thick, and naturally wavy. Many people don't know how to work with that combination and one wrong cut or product can really mess things up. I go to Holly and feel like I have finally found someone that takes time to listen as and knows that you can't texurize or razor hair like mine. As far as color goes, she is great at coming up with techniques to get me what I want with the least amount of damage. She is also very transparent as to what will work and what won't and she always finds a way to get the look I want. I like getting highlights of different colors and in the past I've been told no that would not look good or we can't do that. Well, I get a couple different shades of blonde and light brown put in my hair and Holly has no problem doing it. If you want a great all around experience go see Holly at van burens salon 😀

Ann my stylist cuts a great cut. I have curly hair and she can cut, shape and fix my hair problems. She is super knowledgeable about hair styles, products and has solutions to fit my certain needs. My hair is sliver/grey, which sometimes has a bothersome yellowing. I hate that. I found it's from my hard water. Ann knew just what to use to get rid of that yellow. My hair feels and looks fantastic. She listens well to my thoughts on what I want and has mad skills!
