With the app glitching, I can’t even leave an appropriate review on the a Volo App regarding the kickball game I played last night. I’ve had fun the last night with my team and the other team dressing up in a pool party theme. However, the ref at my game last night called a fair ball for a ball that was only kicked inches away from home plate in the last inning!! Mind you my team was on the field and we were already leading by roughly 2-3 points and we could have won this game if it wasn’t for that foul call. Even people spectating knew the call was bad!! Hate to see how much this organization has gone downhill, especially over the past few months. Even as a volo pass member I enjoyed all the perks they have. I still love being around all the people I have met through volo but there’s a point where the cost of having fun is just not worth it anymore!!

Pay more, get less. I’ve been playing volleyball with this organization since it was originally owned by Vavi. Since the change in ownership, prices have steadily been increasing to almost double what I originally paid. With this increase you think you would be getting more. WRONG! You will rarely get an (included) t-shirt for joining a league anymore, and you will be lucky to collect the 1st place prize at the end of the season if you win. Compare this to the Vavi days when winning the league meant free entry into the next season, and each week you were given a voucher for a free pitcher of beer at one of the local bars. I’ve also noticed a recent lack of friendliness from staff, and if the net falls over, they will move like molasses to put it back up. Now they are also moving into pickleball and reserving all the pickleball courts for a large time slot at the tennis center so you can’t even use the courts without paying way too much to be in one of their dumb leagues. Needless to say, I am fed up with their corporate greed and very apparent lack of concern for customer satisfaction.
