One of their employees almost ran over two old woman driving extremely fast ON THE SIDE WALK to park right here (see photo). Not only is this illegal parking she could have hurt or killed people. I barely got myself and dog out of the way as she drove straight at us like we were in the middle of the road.

I have lived at 9900 East Girard Avenue #106 Denver CO 80231 a VOA rental property for over 10 years. I have written 10 years of complaints about numerous nieghbors smoking in their apartments & my apartment smells like an ashtray and I do not smoke!!! The smell is in the ventilation system!!! Since 2016 the lease was changed to no smoking in resident units yet it is not enforced so the HUD lease is useless unless it is enforced. Therefore, I am preparing to sue VOA. I now have asthma & sinus health problems created from the toxins of the nicotine being purposely put into the airways of the building. There are enforcements that could be utilized, but VOA refuses to utilize any of them. They are just as liable regarding my health problems caused by the nicotine as the tenants Ive complained about because they do not enforce the lease. So if you have a choice DO NOT CHOOSE TO LIVE IN A VOA PROPERTY BECAUSE YOU WILL LITERALLY BE POISONED FROM THE SECOND HAND SMOKE. I HAVE NO CHOICE BCUZ I AM DISABLED & HAVE NO OTHER LIVING OPTION SO I HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE STENCH & NOW BREATHING PROBLEMS. IVE EVEN GIVEN A DOCTOR'S NOTE THAT THEY COULD HAVE MOVED ME AWAY FROM THE TENANT THAT SMOKES IN HER UNIT & THEY BLATANTLY IGNORED MY DOCTOR'S NOTE MAKING ME BREATHE THE CANCER CAUSING FUMES. SO DO NOT SEE VOA AS A HELPING UNIT FOR US THE POOR & DISABLED. THEY ARE QUITE THE OPPOSITE BY THEIR NEGLECT OF THE DETERIORATION OF MY HEALTH PROBLEMS.
