We had a great day on the water, despite a couple of us getting seasick. Hale and Nick were enthusiastic and welcoming. You can tell they have a real love for the sport. They took us to all the right spots and we caught a bunch of Rockfish and other species and had some amazing homemade fish tacos, thanks to Hale’s recommendation of a fantastic farmer's market and a great recipe. The best San Diego fishing charter I’ve been on. The captain and crew were very helpful and worked hard throughout the trip. We caught several kinds of fish and everyone had a great time onboard. Even better, this was the first offshore trip for my wife and son. Captain Hale also ensured that William pulled in the most fish as well as the only CA sheephead! Six of us done a 3/4 day trip with Captain Hale and deckhand Steve. Fishing was a little slow in the morning but Captain Hale stayed consistent and got us on fish. We all had a great day on the water and went home with fish. Captain Hale and Steve are very knowledgeable and down to earth. Will definitely be back and book with these guys again!

Great Captain, great first mate. We had a wonderful time and caught a lot different spices of fish and hooked a monster fish, unfortunately we never landed it. But the fight was fun and all of us got a turn at trying to bring it in. If you want a great time fishing in San Diego Hale and Nick is the way to go….
