It is a nice ice rink. It is outside, so wear appropriate clothing based on the weather. To pay using credit cards you must do it online. If you have skates it's free.

This is such a great skating rink. Admission is free and there are skate rentals if needed for $7 each. There are heat lamps on the sideline for people who arent skating. No concessions during Covid but just bring snacks. There are restrooms inside which is great. The line to get in is really long depending on what time you go but they admit 50 at a time and put people off the ice when they bring the machine out to resurface so everyone has a chance to skate. So worth it and parking is easy as there's a lot 🙌🏾

Excellent ice rink (with BONUS sledding hill, when there's snow) on the far North side. Free skating as of 2017 if you BYO skates. Rentals available on site. Free parking too! Larger than Millennium Park, and way less crowded as well. Would be perfect if they had a snack bar or something.
