Washington Pool Aquatics program I’ve been using the City of Phoenix swimming programs for over 27 years, and I can honestly say this year has been one of the most impressive experiences yet. The level of instruction, encouragement, and overall environment at Washington Pool has exceeded all my expectations. The instructors don’t just teach swimming—they help build confidence, emotional safety, and a deeper understanding of the water. As someone who took a swim class over 20 years ago and still didn’t know how to swim, I finally decided to try again this year. I’m so glad I did. I’m learning at my own pace, gaining confidence in the water without feeling stressed or pushed. My 10-year-old son also enrolled and learned incredibly fast. The teaching style at this location truly makes learning fun and effective. Special thanks to Lucas, who taught my son with so much patience and joy, encouraging him to grow and love the class. I also want to highlight the outstanding staff: 💧 Felipe, my swim trainer, has helped me learn more than I ever thought possible. 💧 Eric Swan, the pool manager, is always attentive and ensures everything runs smoothly. 💧 Maribel, who welcomes you with such warmth when you walk in, makes you feel like family. This program has been a healing and empowering journey for both me and my son. Thank you to everyone at Washington Pool for the love and dedication you pour into your work!

There's nice green grass, water, water buckets, shade trees, and the people last attention to their dogs.. they pick up after their dogs, too. I go in the morning and people are welcoming. There's also great bird watching there from love birds to birds of prey.

My wife, son, and I visit this park almost weekly! Always enjoy our time spent there. Lots of playgrounds & obstacle courses for kids. Always sports games to sit and watch on the fields in the evenings!

Decent place if you have a reservation for a sports activity. The neighborhood is bad to fair, thus making it not ideal for kids and families to hang out or even host private events. With a lot of activity happening after the sunset, I would watch out safety and security.
